The Hannibal Jaycee’s would like to give you the opportunity to win $1000.00 and have the bragging rights as having the best wings for 2012.

We will be hosting our 8th Annual Wing Ding on January 28, 2012. It will be held at the Admiral Coontz Armory in Hannibal. The doors will open to the public at 11:00 and wings will be served at 1:00. The event ends at 7:00 p.m. The cost for participating is $125.00. We provide the fryers, oil and chicken. Each team can have up to 5 team members. Your Wing Ding crew gets into the event for free. We ask that each team provide 1 person to assist in the cooking of the wings. The flavor of the wings is up to each individual team. They can be battered or not.

The theme for Wing Ding 2012 is MASH. We will be donating a portion of this year’s Wing Ding proceeds to the Honor Flight.

We ask that each wing booth decorate according to the theme. There will be a $100 cash award for the best decorated booth with the 2nd place booth winner getting 5 Wing Ding 2012 t-shirts. We will allow teams to begin setting up their booth Friday night after 6:00 p.m. or doors will open at 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

Voting will consist of 3 parts, the first part being People’s Choice and the second part being judged by a group of 10. Of the 10 judges there will be 5 Hannibal Jaycee’s/Mark Twain Distributing people and 5 U.S. Veterans/current military people from the crowd. The third part will be based on best decorated booth picked by this year’s Wing Ding Chairmen. If a tie is found then a U.S. Veteran/military personnel will be chosen from the crowd to pick the winner. The 2nd place winner will receive $500.00 and 3rd place will receive $250.00.

We are very excited and proud to give our proceeds this year to a cause that is very near and dear to all of us.

Friendly Reminder: This event is for those whom are 21 years or older, ID's will be checked at the door.
